Eclipse, Ashton ID
We extended our stay a couple times in Idaho, the first time to stay for the eclipse. We were in the direct path of the eclipse so we had to stay to see this once-in-a-lifetime event. I spent the weeks before ordering special glasses and camera filter.
Meanwhile, I learned to drive.....
The very next day I shattered my elbow. Thus extending our stay once again.
We watched the eclipse, an amazing experience.

We had a lot of last minute decorations to add, and the staff was eager and willing to help. The food was amazing. They have extremely unique and tasty food. Also these Los Angeles event venues have great views and beautiful big rooms.
It's a good thing you learned to drive. It definitely is empowering.
